You've made the Inc. 500 three different times. What do you think is the most important aspect of achieving this kind of growth?

Celia: As the industry develops, we grow with it. We're always ready to push our product and service to the next threshold of performance in line with customers' needs.

What is the biggest problem you've seen the platform solve for a client?

Robert: I feel with all clients that sign up for our services, we solve a piece of mind aspect when it comes to solving their problems with vehicles as well as equipment, and it ranges from being able to monitor driver behavior to prevent wear and tear on newer vehicles to anti-theft protection for equipment.

Robert: Unlike other money-grab providers, we offer the best service in our market! I often get the line, "This is too good to be true. Where is the catch?" but there is none!

What's the most unique part about working with One Step GPS?

Robert: The most unique thing about working for One Step GPS for me is the opportunity and growth from when I started a couple of years ago until now. We achieved great heights. 2021–2023 INC 5000 Winners and much more.

Robert: Their experiences and how bad they were or have been. There are many horror stories, from being locked in contact for years with no working equipment to ordering devices and never receiving them.

What's the most memorable thing a client has told you/mentioned to you about working with One Step GPS or the platform?

Stephen: The most memorable thing wasn't a good thing.... An owner fired his childhood friend because he caught him taking advantage of his good nature by aimlessly driving around four 6 hours a day whilst on the clock.

Stephen: Sounds cheesy but, How much you actually care. When I sign someone up I want them to get the absolute 100% best from everyone they deal with over here.

What is the mission of One Step GPS?

Adam: To bring the benefits of sensor data to the company fleets that are the backbone of our economy and to improve their operations' efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

What's the most memorable thing you have heard a client mention about working with One Step GPS or the platform?

Adam: The first time we recovered a quarter million dollar piece of equipment. The police weren't interested in investigating it after looking at where it was in Google Street View (we found a ton of stuff sitting in their yard). We were able to convince the police to investigate. They busted a whole ring and found 6-8 other pieces of stolen equipment because of that. This was probably our third month in operation, and it just proved our product did what it was supposed to.

What's the most memorable thing you have heard an employee mention about working at One Step GPS?

Adam: That we are the best company they have ever worked for. I hear this several times a year.

Adam: We want to be the best GPS fleet solution on the market, the easiest to use, with the best reporting, the best service and support, and pricing, and help businesses achieve their safety, sustainability, and efficiency goals.

What's the most unique part about working with One Step GPS?

Lindsey: We have a great team that works together. I also enjoy the fact that we can contribute new ideas and see them get implemented. I know I can depend on my colleagues to tackle projects or help me brainstorm an issue I am running into. Overall, I really love the team. Also using the ability to think outside of the box (something many other companies do not use-stuck in their ways).

What's the most memorable thing you have heard a client mention about working with One Step GPS or the platform?

Lindsey: I have heard a few stories at this point, but people are so grateful when they can track down a stolen piece of equipment or vehicle. (Some even gruesome, lol) It totally makes the product worth it for that alone. One rescue of a piece of stolen equipment can save them hundreds of thousands of dollars. More money then they will most likely ever spend on the service. It shows them the value of tracking their vehicles/assets. Also, the ability to talk to a real person and not being prompted through automated answering machines.

What do customers most frequently mention when switching from another provider?

Lindsey: I have heard a lot of people mention long wait times to talk to someone. Also, the devices just going down regularly, no support and contracts keeping them locked in.

Why do you think clients choose to work with One Step GPS?

Lindsey: The affordability of our service. The ability to have things resolved very quickly when necessary. The fact that we offer a high level of support and that our system looks very modern/intuitive user ability.

Mason: On a daily basis I hear that our customers love the Scorecard platform and the sheer accuracy of your units. The customers also comment how our pricing is a huge positive as well!

Mason: Even though we advertise it very well on our website, I love to exaggerate our 100-day money-back guarantee trial period. This allows our potential customers to have the confidence that they are receiving equipment that truly works. After the trial period, our customers are more than satisfied with the platform and equipment leading to them wanting to stay with us. Even after the 100 days, we offer no contracts and you can cancel whenever you'd like!

What is the biggest problem you've seen the platform solve for a client?

Mason: Besides tracking down the occasional stolen vehicle or asset that is equipped with One Step GPS devices, I have a few customers who were able to monitor their employees and find out they're either using the gas cards on their own vehicles and not the company vehicles, find out they are stealing company time, and not going to their appointments when they said they were. These are just a few of the perks that I have come from our devices.
